Frameless showers look fantastic. One major manufacturer of frameless shower doors, surrounds, and hardware is Century Shower Door.
They have special hinges that connect glass to glass, eliminating the need for a frame. They also have shower door pulls that connect directly to glass shower doors instead of to a frame. They offer their products nationwide and provide installation in CA, AZ, and NV.

This is what I will be getting in my master bathroom (someday when the tile guy is done) but it seems to be a different brand. The fixed side goes from floor to ceiling while the hinged side is shorter, more like standard shower door height. They are gorgeous! But I think anything frameless is a step in the right direction.
