Egad, those flower-eyed skulls are hideous! Look like the worst kind of floral-chintz kitchen curtains my mother had.

What timely designs with "Day of the Dead" right around the corner. I LOVE that fabric with the flower-eyed skulls...think they would make great throw pillows. The red fabric is nice too...it has a more vintage feel to it than the fun/funky blue fabric.
I moved to southern New Mexico 3 years ago and have enjoyed learning about the Mexican/Southwest culture....never thought I would love skulls and skeletons but a trip to the local day of the dead celebration (Día de los Muertos) our first year here educated me on the meaning behind the celebration and changed my mind about these skully cultural icons.
The landscape, sunlight, colors, textures, and textiles here have challenged me to rethink my interior style and it has been fun. The southwest is very different than the pacific northwest..........
