Another Martha? Hailing from Vancouver, here's a source that is completely new: Martha Sturdy. With great color, organic shapes and an "ethnic" style (according to her), Martha Sturdy makes cool tables, trays and screens out of resin, steel and brass. Not to be caught lying down on the job, Martha Sturdy also is an artist with a line of jewelry and wall sculpture.
She is apparently not cheap. Robyn tipped us off with this:
Good News: I've found my dream coffee table. It's steel and resin and so so so nice.
Bad News: At $3900. About $3000 more than I can afford. But the website is really great.
