07.12.tablelegs.jpgEver have the urge to make your own table, desk, or countertop? Then you'll surely find that Table Legs Online is a handy source.

We've seen many offices put together workstations themselves on-the-cheap using individually purchased desk-height legs and flat panel wood doors. This might sound flimsy, but done well it can be suprisingly stylish and strong.

We also liked those short little nickel faucet legs pictured up top. They could help make a nice little side table. Check out the site for tabletop materials, too.

In the early 1970's, my dad built a little bookcase with some ready-made parts that the hardwares sold at the time which were little legs, little tapered-toward-the-middle (kind of like a stretch-out hourglass) dowels for in-between the shelves, and little matching caps for one top the top shelf. It was kind of cool.

This reminds me of that, and I'm really glad to have a source for that kind of project now!

Wow- Thanks so much for these links (rebar, yours too). I've been envisioning a new home office for myself and these are great resources for pushing imagination into real planning!

I didn't get the legs from this place, but here's an example of a table I built using Ikea legs, lumber, and a second-hand window:

Definitely a great resource for table legs, great prices, and tremendous customer service. I have ordered from them twice, and have always been pleased.
