Easy Art. We've always been huge fans of Marimekko prints. And Textile Arts is an online distributor of the Finish textiles you see in Crate & Barrel. While some of us may be familiar with Unikko and Kivet, Marimekko offers a huge range of patterns. In addition to fabrics by the yard, Textile Arts sells Wall Hanging Kits...

The kits come with stretchers, picture wire and all the hardware you'll need. (frame kits are sold without the fabric). This is stylish and inexpensive alternative to cover large walls...or a fun resource for making your own pillows and curtains.

How funny! I just opened my new kitchen curtains, a.k.a., the Paasky fabric that appears in the first image. I placed my order over the phone with a wonderful woman named Maria at Textile Arts, who was helpful, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. They also have way more fabrics in stock than Kiitos on 3rd Ave and are very prompt shippers. I'm a fan.

I wanted the order the red on red table linen from Crate & Barrel and turn into a wall art, but all sizes were sold out both in stores & online . Then I made a search over the internet, I found this website and prices looked expensive to me.here is the reason why: If you recall, I bought a dish towel designed by Marimekko for $ 18.00 from Anthropologie store and turned into a wall art by stretching it, like a canvas. This website sells exact same thing for $ 135.00.

i have bought several items from this retailer and have found them to be helpful and prompt with delivery. they will also send sample swatches, etc. and i've found it to be a great way to get some big impact pieces on my graduate school budget.

I ordered from Textile Arts and was happy with my purchase. I had a lot of fun making my own large-scale art!

my boyfriend and I were going to frame the lumimarja on the wall, and he told me the lady who picked up was very helpful and nice, and spent so much time on the phone explaining how to do it for him, that he felt he should have paid her for consulting fees!
