Wall fun. Decorating walls is something we have wanted to do since we were old enough to draw on them and get spanked for it. In keeping with our desire to keep our childhood desires alive and yet direct them safely, people have been creating images that affix to walls and don't harm them.

2004_12_15_candy.gifWallCandyArts.com is the latest that we have come across and they have a very sweet site. They call it Wall Candy, and it's vinyl that you can stick on your walls and then peel off without worry.

They have a number of different themes, including a whole farm scene in a pasture (Grazeland), an outer space scene with rockets (Space Crafts), and Merimekko Poppies in tiles (there are more). Basic packs run for @ $50 and can be found at all these stores.

They're giant-sized Colorforms! Hmm, I wonder if mom has my old Star Wars colorforms in the basement somewhere?

Thank you so much for your lovely compliments. We are thrilled to know that you came across our product and liked it enough to write a commentary.

To clarify, our product is not made by Blik. We are the only legal manufacturer of the registered and trademarked product wallcandy. This has been happening to us a lot lately...

Long story short, we're honored to be recognized on your site.

Thank you.

Alot of the stuff out there is pretty standard. Seems like everyone has the basic circles and geometric shapes. One company that actually has some very unique designs is http://slicksticks.com The people there have an art background. Anyways, good luck with your wall graphic projects.

P.S. if you decide to order, you can use the coupon code 'dunc' for a discount ;-)
