looks like the search function for the new site isn't up an running yet so i'll just through this question out there.
i'm looking to wallpaper one wall in my living/dining room but am sort of at a loss for good wallpaper resources.
I have found some interesting papers but none in colors i'm looking for. I'm not tied to a particular color just yet, i'm just looking for the feel of the Erin and Seth's Home of Happiness - Fall Color contest entry http://gallery.apartmenttherapy.com/photo/111407erin/_slide_/medium
I want the room to be warm, pumpkins, yellows, browns, something like that. I was hoping to stumble on a great wallpaper then be able to work from that. Any suggestions??

i have a question myself and i dont know where else to ask: i dont even remember the right words to google it. it's about a device you put in front of your tv screen. it basically rasterizes your tv image into a screen of about 12 by 12 colors through frosted glass cubes you put in front of it. in a way, it turns a regular tv programme into a lightshow. i remember seeing it online but i cant remember where. does anybody know what i am talking about?

has anyone sprouted seeds in their kitchen before using a hemp bag? how did that go? have you sprouted peas in one? what about broccoli seeds?
is there an open thread section on AT Kitchen....can't seem to locate one.
vertigo, I've had good luck recently at www.fabricsandpapers.com - they have a great selection and incredibly helpful staff.
I have a question, too - does anyone remember a posting on AT (sometime within the last year) that included a silvery metal coat tree? I think it was made by the resident being profiled, and there was some discussion of their love of organic forms (the coat tree had leaves for "pegs," as I recall). I think the owner/designer may have been Spanish, perhaps?
I'd be so HUGELY grateful if anyone could help me find it again!

Andreas - it was called the GrooveTube. I think they're defunct. Here's a link to a blog entry about it: http://tinyurl.com/ywpesh. I have a friend who owns one and may be willing to sell it.

Is it just me or does most of the AT NYC, AT Chicago, AT San Francisco, AT LA stuff seem silly? What's the point? I can understand when it comes to posts about specific stores, etc but why the hell is a post about " The Magic Garden" labeled Chicago?! Its Apartment Therapy Sprawl and it sucks. Its too much. Shouldn't the city specific pages should have content that is city specific and nothing else?

I am really enjoying the new main page. So much good stuff to read! And I don't have to check out all the city specific sites to find it. I choose to skip some city-specific stuff for other cities, while appreciating the city-specific stuff for my city. It is working for me.

My point is, why label most of these things as city specific. That's the silly part. Not the entry's themselves.

Does anyone know what kind of chairs these are?
http://tinyurl.com/2xbrwd
Sorry for the bad pic but its the only one I've found.
I'm looking for something like this:
http://tinyurl.com/yv3jp6 - but a standard chair.
Maybe built by Sikes? Arts and Crafts era? The ones I've seen in the past are very solid all wood chairs. Any help would be appreciated.
