Want to test your skills in a paint choosing challenge? I'm in need of advice on choosing paint color(s) for a living/dining area in my condo. I've got high ceilings and the walls wrap around each other such that there's not a good clean break (see photos for details), making it challenging for me to choose color. But, I'm design-challenged, which is why I seek your wonderful knowledge.
I'm totally open for advice. I'm thinking of grey as the main color. One of the walls will be exposed brick (noted in the photos). I'm also considering an accent wall or accent colors/art using wall decals or wallpaper. I'm also planning to get a black chandelier for the kitchen.
Thanks everyone!

I bought a great chair at a yard sale last weekend and am workign on refinishing it. I already painted the wood and it look great, but it needs a new cusion and I wanted to use a fun fabric. Namely, Marimekko's bottna. Any idea where I can purchase this in an amount less than a yard?

lsk,
This was the only place I could think of, but they don't seem to have the bottna fabric:

Peaceyall,
How exciting - I know you want to make this decision now, but I would wait till all the brick is exposed before picking a color. It might make the room darker than you expect.
Also, I would paint it all one color, walls & ceiling, because of all the angles and such; I would want them to recede as much as possible. Are you planning to keep the kitchen cabinets as they are?
Have fun!!

I'm looking for someone who can sew custom shades (probably roller or Roman) given material I purchase myself. I'm in Brooklyn and would prefer someone in Brooklyn or Manhattan.
Anyone have any leads?

i'll keep the cabinets. they're brand new - came with the condo. i'm not a huge fan of the style, but the wood is actually really nice and it would be a shame to paint over it.
