I went early this a.m. & was very pleased to see more people there than I usually do on election mornings.

Does anyone own a Nani Marquina rug?

We are thinking about purchasing one, but I am worried about the care of the rug? Anyone have experience with these shag rugs?

Awhile back, someone here was jonesing for the octagonal tables in the West Elm catalog (wood base, ssome sort of composite/slate-like top), but were told they weren't for sale.

Well, now they are. Not online yet, but two versions are currently in stores.

My guess is a production problem delayed the roll-out, but rolled out they have.

Can anyone help me figure out how to raise my bedframe so that I can put nice crates under the bed? I have a normal queen sized bedframe in a very small bedroom and would love to devise as much storage space as possible underneath the bed. Ideally, I was hoping to figure out a way to raise the entire bed and frame up about 8-12 inches. Any ideas? The bed is very similar to this one: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/p957/index.cfm?pkey=cfurbedall

Thanks so much for any help!!!

Does anyone remember seeing a post here (or maybe in "the kitchen," though i have searched there endlessly) about a smallish white ceramic fruit bowl that is shaped just like the plastic crates you buy strawberries in?

Please help! Thanks.

Olivia,
I don't know how high you need to go ... will this help? http://www.organize.com/bedrisers.html
I am assuming you are using a bed skirt - with the risers you may need to get a longer skirt to hide everything.
