Did we ever see the complete set of after photos of Maxwell's (and wife and cute little baby's) apartment? The last entry about their apartment that I remember was about the rope around the bathroom pipe. I may have missed the final and complete after tour. If I missed it, can somebody direct me to the entry?

Thanks!

How come Thread 352 is completely empty? Was everybody on strike? Is that a first for AT?

hey out there - i noticed this neat collection of furniture only available online at target.com. this would solve many problems of getting couches through narrow doors, up many flights of stairs, and other small apartment/big city problems.
the whole collection is also offered in unfinished wood so you can stain or paint to your heart's content. Here's the link for the sofas, but dig around a bit to find the matching chair, media centre, desk and bookshelves:
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_4/602-3756701-4559866?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000FTLIBG
(oh, and did I mention these are solid wood and cute and modern and look like the kind of dollhouse furniture I used to put together as a kid?) too bad tar-jay won't deliver to canada!

so this is not really home related but AT seems like the crowd that could provide some useful references.

I have a my heart set on an engagement ring from Niwaka but they are closed until May 2007. I definitely cannot wait that long and I do need to see the settings in person before making a decision. Can anyone recommend a store or jeweller that produces rings similar in style?

Hi there -
I need AT help! I'm looking for a sectional sofa similar to the Neo sectional chaise on dwr.com.
http://www.dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=4097
BUT... I really want just one seat cushion on the sofa portion of it and one more on the chaise. Know what mean?? The Neo has 3 seat cushions total and I just want 2. I saw one that was perfect while watching Dinner Takes All on TLC last Friday (if anyone watched it was in the guy's apt) so I know it's out there. The legs and styling were just like the dwr Neo, but it had just 2 seat cushions and multiple pillows on the back rest. Any ideas? I've checked roomandboard.com and lignet-rose.

Has anyone had any experience with stripping paint off of a plaster fireplace?

Angelune,
I keep hearing rumours in the business section that HBC (Hudson's Bay Company) is trying to sell Zellers to Target. I just hope and pray that it'll happen one of these days!

Angelune and Michelle, I'll be praying with you too that we'll finally see some Targets up here. Bye bye Zellers, HELLLOOOOOOOO TARGET!!!!!

Hi,

This is probably a silly question, or maybe I am semantically-sensitive, but if a piece of furniture is said to be "attributed to John Doe", is that any different than "by John Doe." For instance, would it be linked to the design house instead of the actual person? In terms of collecting furniture, I'm sure the latter is worth more than the former.

sorry if that was confusing. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

thanks!

Hi!
wondering if someone has advice for me,i've had bad luck with non stick skillets and am now looking for a cast iron one,but am confused between le creuset brand and all clad. any recommendations?? thanks

I'd say that "attributed to" kind of either means that it is thought to have been done by the person, but they're not dead sure and/or that it's considered to be their shop but possibly executed by their assistants under their supervision.

Sara,
If you can afford Le Creuset, then by all means go for it. I know a few people who have it and absolutely love it. I don't think you could go wrong with it. Someday I hope to have it myself.
