apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Hi,
I just bought two backless Saarinen chairs off of Craigslist at a great price and would like to change the legs from the metal to the wooden legs. (I am also planning on reupholstering the chairs...) Does anyone know where I can just get the wooden curved legs without having to buy completely new chairs?

I'm looking for a carrera marble topped coffee table like the one Kenneth Brown had made custom shown in the link below, but I don't want to pay custom prices. I need it to be fairly large. Any ideas where I can get something similar? I've seen one at CB2 but I'd need two of them and I'm not thrilled with the CB's base. Thanks!

Has anyone in New York bought a rug at apt? I've been looking at a rug on their website but I'm nervous about buying something like that on line. http://www.apt-ny.com/

What is different from the custom one and the CB2 one? Looks like a dead-on match to me.

P2- The cb2's base looks less substantial to me but the main problem with it is is that they are two small. I just want one very large rectangle or sqaure one.
