If we're counting that wedding reception for my cousin's son on Saturday in Louisiana as a party, I guess I'm going to one. It's not a holiday party, but it's kind of a party.

My sister is getting married on Monday, so this weekend is filled with all manner of meeting new relatives, rehearsal dinners and crap like that. Fun fun.

Oops -- head still foggy from AT Party -- glossed over question above.
2 Parties on Saturday evening -- one early in Crrol Gardens, and one later on the Upper West Side (close to home - yay!)
And on Sunday I head up to Westchester to help my mom put up a tree -- sort of a party!

Me too, Frank. My head is hurting a bit. And I have to go downtown to have drinks with a friend this evening!
I'm not going to any parties. I'm sort of glad about that. But I do have tons of errands to run so thank god there's not a transit strike until Tues. at the earliest.
Had a great time last night !!!

Wende - I just clicked on your name and got 50 pages of your book! This is great. I'm going to read it as soon as I get rid of this hangover.

Oh good -- you found it! I figured this method would allow anyone who was curious to look without feeling they were committing to having to read the whole thing if it isn't to their tastes. Then anyone who has the urge to know how it comes out can ask for a zipped copy of the rest.

Wende, I just printed it out here at work and can't wait to read it when I get home. (I was an editor in my former life, and I still love the thrill of a first read!) Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
