Roundup: Ten Laundry Bags

We've been thinking that we'd like to hang a cute laundry bag in the bathroom near the shower in order to avoid laundry piles that might appear otherwise. (Not that we'd ever leave laundry on the floor!) We were looking for bags that were relatively affordable, but one of these is a whooping $125. We thought we'd stick it in the mix here to see if you can guess which one is the most expensive?

FIRST ROW
1 India Rose, $56
2 etsy seller, LittleMissSewNSew, $20
3 John Lewis 3-in-1 Laundry Bag, £19.50
4 A Touch of Europe, $21.99
5 étoile, three sizes: 30cm x 40cm (£11), 40cm x 50cm (£14.50), 50cm x 70cm (£19)

SECOND ROW
6 Orla Keily for Target, $6.99
7 French General, $125
8 Amy Butler fabric laundry bag from etsy seller, PrettyNeatDesigns, $20

The is the most expensive bag in the bunch! $125 from French General

Did you guess which bag was the most expensive? $125 for a laundry bag seems a little nuts to us. We love to hear if you use a laundry bag or basket, and which bag you like the best. If you like the Orla Keily fabric, check out what one creative Apartment Therapy reader did with it.

Many of these appear to be smaller than a load of laundry. What use is that?

I have a new, unused India Rose laundry bag (pictured above) that I'm willing to part with at half price if anyone is interested.

Anyone who would consider spending $125.00 for a laundry bag is just plain koo-koo. I use the blue bags from IKEA!

When I lived alone, I just moved the entire hamper into the bathroom. But with a roommate, that doesn't work so well. Looking at these, I think I may have found my next sewing project.

Wow! So glad I have built in hamper in my bath! When going to the laundry room, I just use one of those 1 or 2 dollar large plaid bags you buy in chinatown.

The India Rose bag inspires me to go find my first communion dress and sew up the lining to make a bag.
Love it!

where you from Easily? I love that bag. I'd use it more as a tote than a laundry bag. I am in L.A.

The colors/darks/whites bag can also be found at The Container Store for about $30. I have one and people always complement it. dtremit is right though; most eye-catching laundry bags/hampers don't hold a lot of clothes. Besides that 3-compartment one, we also use a built-in hamper in our bathroom.

I can't believe anyone would spend more than $5 on a laundry bag!

I own the India Rose one and it was a great investment. It's easy to pack, I've moved with it several times, and it makes the laundry next to the shower look cute instead of gross
