Stat Key Designer Keys by Gregory Scott Stoermer

Does your keychain need some extra bling? Check out these stylish keys with cool and helpful icons such as a house, a heart or even a cat. It's a perfect way to identify the key for the neighbor whose cat you occasionally look after or — oh wait, that's me.

At $11 a key, they are more expensive than a dollar key from the hardware store, but they would make a great gift for a new homeowner or a significant other moving in.

Buy them directly from Stat Key Company.

Oh good. Now I'll be able to tell the key for my house apart from the key to my horse.

These are attractive, but colored plastic or rubber key caps are only about a buck or two and work just as well.

lol I think they made that one so Sarah Jessica Parker's boyfriend could also get one.

slowdown: but I'll bet they don't hold up as well. The key caps I've used get grungy, then brittle, then fall apart, and often keep the key from fitting the lock properly.

I've had mine for about a year. They're some kind of rubbery plastic, quite sturdy, and they look perfect.

Perhaps you are thinking of something else? I don't know how they would keep the key from fitting the lock properly since the cap only covers the top part of the key, not the shaft (or whatever the technical term is).

The runner key looks like it would bend or snap off too easily. Other than that... kind of interesting.

I'd like it better if the images matched the purpose of the key.

Such a great idea. I love them. And if I were a real estate agent, I'd buy them as housewarming gifts for my clients.

These are much more stylish than different coloured key caps to tell your keys apart

I'm finding these very UNattractive. And what's with the little squares on the top? Seems they'd be rather clunky on a keyring. Burglars would find them useful, though...
