More from our trip to IKEA. Revisiting all of the photos we took on our visit, we found a very inexpensive option for those wanting a space-saving landing strip. In addition to its magnetic chalkboard, the wall-mounted LUNS provides hooks for keys, a slot for mail and two pockets for miscellany like cell phones and change...

I hate the word landing strip! It reminds me of a bikini wax.

I have one of these. The chalkboard itself isn't great, but the whole setup is certainly worth $15.

it'd be cool to get a sheet of metal or something to make it a magnet board. i love magnet boards.

I have this and I use it as my landing strip. It's pretty handy - I tuck my bills and outgoing mail in the bins under the chalk trays so I remember them when I walk out the door.

Pottery Barn has a nice magnetic chalk board that's similar in concept, but the price isn't so nice.
