Russell+Hazel: Binders and Storage

Modern and colorful organization.
I admired russell+hazel products from afar for awhile before I committed to an $18 binder. The bright colors and promises of awe-inducing organization eventually won me over. A tough davey-board exterior, colorful book-binding canvas, dry-erase interior, solid hardware and a giant rubber band all contribute to the allure...

Since my initial single binder purchase over two years ago, I've added five more. They've helped me consolidate and organize an extensive collection of magazine tear-outs, recipes, freelance illustrators and more. Simple, but luxurious. I am eagerly awaiting the new colors in their Classic Starter Storage Collection.

Am completely hooked on R&H despite being remotely embarrassed to be spending so much $ on paper. Post-it to-do list pads are my favorite find. I gave some to my sister-in-law -- she nearly cried from joy. I use my mini-binder planner set every day. Sticker shock aside, big thumbs up.

Thanks, AT. Now I'm hooked on more stuff I shouldn't spend my money on!

Nice colours, I use some from IKEA but they are not as colourful but much cheaper.

Hi Meredith, it is a Kartell cart...

Funny - I put them on my organizational "to buy" list just yesterday (I like their patterned binders for my recipe collection http://russellandhazel.stores.yahoo.net/liedpabi.html ).

There is also another series I like for keeping magazine tear-outs organized, etc.: I like the letter boxes in this series - http://thehomeofficestore.com/urban.html The only problem is that they do not have label holders like the R&H models do, and sticking things to the textured dot surface is challenging. But I need lots of them, and they are cheaper...

I love the cart too...are there any less expensive alternatives that people can recommend?
