Wow. that's really sad, Guido.

We spend all sorts of time in our backyard. This weekend it was throwing a ball with the dogs, laying cement block for a garage, watering the plants, looking at the plants, picking cherries off our trees, and just sitting and looking. We plan on buying patio furniture, as long as it will weather well, because we KNOW what the dirt storms throw up. Its got to be all metal, because glass or plastic will blow away.

But yeah, the only reason we would know the furniture to buy and the money to spend is because we've had 4 plastic chairs in our yard for 3 years, and had friends bring chairs over when we had outdoor parties.

I'm thinking that for such an item to succeed, the material, design, and technical execution all need to be stellar. I don't think that happened here. Imagine the denizens of a local diner or greasy spoon in these booths, and you'll see them for what they are. . . .

In the high desert and plains we get storms (thunder, lightniing, high wind) and no rain - massive amounts of dirt, dust and debris flying around though. It's especially bad since we have resevoir project around the corner (30 acres of dirt!).
