Palms Collection

4-7--palms-2.jpg

One of our favorite sources for furniture, Curran, doesn't usually go modern or contemporary in their styling, but this spring we see it creeping in.

4-7---palm-1.jpgThese chairs and loungers are visually stunning and more comfortable looking than any other outdoor furniture we can remember. We just want to curl up on the lounger and take a nap.

Made from pressure-molded teak on stainless steel frames, the Palms Collection includes the lounger ($1,714), armchair ($1,003), side chair ($905) and side table ($564).

Great design. I'll have to wait for the Target knock-off.

looks great, but at those prices you better have a garden to match

i like the chair, but the lounger reminds me of a roach.

LOL @ Angelina's comment.

Nice chairs but too expensive for me.

This is original, beautiful, great stuff. I'm jealous.

Although, if I use my Vincent Price voice, the lounger looks like the star of a scary movie called "The Tingler".

I think that lounger is GOR. GEOUS. SO sculptural.

I'd use it inside with a flokati throw ina n all-white shiny room for a fabulous Barbarella-meets-James Bond vibe.

Scott! I know that movie, and you're right, it does. I was thinking smelly millepede, without the excessive and graceful legs. Either way, it gives me the creeps.

Yah, way to go, Ace, sniff that cyanide gas.

Andree.....can't believe you actually found any reference to it. Bravo. In my case, 4-year old summer movie goers scare easily and...seemingly...permanently.

Scott, keep the fairy tales and lullabyes away from that child! Poor little duffer, being sung to sleep with "Rock-a-bye-baby"....the story of sadistic parents putting children in trees. Babies that will then come plummeting to the earth when the wind blows.

Grandmother eating wolves. Wolves that blow down small, cool homes crafted from earth-friendly materials. Poisonous apples. Evil relatives that make you sleep in the fireplace.

And unrealistic expectations, I'm still waiting for that happily ever after crap.

Kids don't understand what's real and not real. Try to wipe out bad memories with good ones.

It wasn't so hard to find the picture of the Tingler, I used the Metacrawler image search. There are all kinds of things available on tape and DVD, including The Tingler.

Very modern and new trendy design.
I am not sure about the comfort of the chair.
