Okay, so most of us don't have the option of putting a pool in. But this list of the coolest pools from Oobject helps beat the heat and provides us with tons of great design ideas. So, check it out after the jump...

We've pulled a couple of our favorites for viewing here. That one up top is from an amazing OMA house in Paris. See all of the coolest pools at Oobject.

This pool is even cooler if you could see a little more of the horizon, because the Eiffel Tower can be seen almost directly in line with the pools axis. Koolhaas was interviewed as being "insulted" by such a beautiful view, saying that the obvious thing to do would have been to align the pool with the view of the tower, so he intentionally skewed it a little bit.

The Georgian Terrace in Atlanta. I cannot find a pic, but if you go to their website, it is the 4th or 5th shot on the opening slideshow. A stunning rooftop pool.

My ultimate dream home would include a 25-yard lap pool.

Am I the only person worried that the woman in the first picture is about to break both her arms diving into the five-foot wide side of the pool?? Don't do it lady!!

Also, I'm all over playing pirates/goonies in that cave pool.

Is that a man made pool or natural cave pool? I love it, but having a pool with such little light access would feel odd for long term summer fun. I guess in Florida we value the tan too much. lol.
