Springtime bliss is what we've found at Jamali Garden Supplies in the flower district. They're packed full of really cool supplies for container gardening. And their prices are consistently lower than we'd expect from saliva-inducing stuff.
Just check out the black Doppio Bordo resin pots and this titanium planter for only $26.
There are many more containers to choose from, plus cut bamboo, baskets, and decorative items for the home.
they just don't have the same selection in-store as they do on-line. the place is TEENY. i found what i wanted, but the browsing wasn't very leisurely (what with the constant "excuse me, oh, pardon me, ooh, jeez, sorry sorry, oh dear, pardon me!")
still, they are the ONLY place i've found white cube ceramic pots with no frills, no designs, etc. they're HOT lookin' on my windowsill, too. and under $10/ea!!! they also had a really nice selection of wood veneer planters w/ inserts, relatively heavy glass vases, etc. modern and inexpensive!
i recommend this place somethin' fierce.
