The 18x18" tabletop is made up of wooden slats that are connected by nylon straps. When the table's disassembled, the top rolls up and makes for easy carrying of the entire kit.
The table's not made for leaving out, but for taking out for a concert or picnic. Sells for $40 here.

I just bought the Crate and Barrel version (which I love), and it's the exact same design (the slats are a touch closer on the C&B). What a bum-out, I would have preferred to support a hand-made DIY version.
