Portable Outdoor Table at Etsy

When this guy tired of attending outdoor concerts and using a cooler for a table, he made this. "Having to constantly take our drinks and food off from it got annoying." Now, the portable table that's made up of a kit-of-parts is available on Etsy...

The 18x18" tabletop is made up of wooden slats that are connected by nylon straps. When the table's disassembled, the top rolls up and makes for easy carrying of the entire kit.

The table's not made for leaving out, but for taking out for a concert or picnic. Sells for $40 here.

I just bought the Crate and Barrel version (which I love), and it's the exact same design (the slats are a touch closer on the C&B). What a bum-out, I would have preferred to support a hand-made DIY version.

Yeah, C&B has had a table like this for about 20 years. It's the same $40 -- I wonder how the build quality compares...
