We met Edward McKeever just a few weeks ago and was impressed with his young company, Strong River Painters. With a background in art and design as well as tons of experience using natural paints, Edward and his crew do exceptional mural and decorative work, specializing in children's room as well as any room that requires a healthy, natural feeling.
Strong River works with people who want unique decorative work done as well as those that wish to increase the value of their home. They work primarily with low and 0 VOC paints and create hand gilded surfaces, trompe loeil, marbling, strei, and venetian plaster finishes.

Very beautiful. Can someone give a HINT as to pricing? I'm sure you get what you pay for, so I'm betting you pay a lot for such work. Ballpark?
One of the remarkable things about Strong River Painters is the way they have escaped the look of having been prettified by a mere painters's brush. There are perhaps few habitations anywhere that ever so successfully fuse aesthetic delightfulness and unabashed creativity. Look for humanity and wit almost everywhere throughout their ornamentation. I have know Edward for eight years and have time and time again been drawn to his distinctive artwork. It is simply satisfying and will accentuate even the most subtle components of your home.

I've had a chance to witness the fine work of Strong River first hand and all I can say is outstanding. Their work ethic leaves none for want and the quality delivered in such a timley fashion makes me want to hire them time and time again.

Strong River Painters (William McKeever) painted my living room and bedroom. The final result is adequate, but the comments I see here do not reflect my experience with William. He arrived several hours late each day, requiring an extremely late night the last day (due to another commitment each of us had the following day); he was planning to apply just one coat of paint until I specified the need for a second coat; he kept the leftover paint although I requested it be returned to me. Disappointing experience.

Great Job. I would reccomend Strong River, they really helped simplify my project and were easy to work with.
I had never hired a decorative painter before Strong River, but I had seen some quality work in some of my friends apartments and wanted to see if it would help the way I felt about my apartment. I told them about some of my concerns, for example, it can be very bright in my apartment and I have had a difficult time finding a color scheme that looks good in low light and in the sun, also I like to have clients over to my house on occasion and I wanted something that would be apprropriate for that as well. Strong River was very helpful, and we figured everything out together. They were a young crew and brought alot of positive energy into my home, and their artistic touch hit the mark.

Strong River Painters is a wonderful company!!! My husband and I just bought our first apartment, and from our first meeting with Ed we were super excited to have him and his team painting our place. He helped with the color selections which we were extremely happy with. They are truly expert painters, and anyone one who comes over compliments the paint job! Ed was flexible and worked exceptionally well with the guys who were doing other contracting work on our place at the same time. Ed was even able to alert us of potential problems in coordinating before they happened. Plus, Ed and his crew are just really really good people. They are a joy to have in your home!
