Before & After: Maude's Graphic Woodgrain Wall

Maude wrote us to share a recent project she completed: Hello there! I wanted to share with you a little project I did myself last week. I was bored with my plain beige wall and I decided to design it with two tones of woodgrain patterned contact paper. I measured the wall and my boyfriend worked our idea on Illustrator to make sure the pattern would fill the wall nicely. He then cut the perfect shape on solid carton that I used as guideline to cut each pieces of contact paper. It took me about 2 days and it cost me only $25. We're really pleased with the result! I like that you got the 3-d effect of that pattern right --it's easy to mess up. Well done!

I'm so impressed by how creative people are out there! This looks fantastic and very professional. Did you need to use any extra adhesives to make sure the edges don't peel up?

This is very well done! I think the colors are just right to jazz up the room from the original beige. I'm curious whether it would become hard to live with?

thanks guys :)
to answer your question, no additionnal glue has been used, the quality is pretty impressive for the cheap cost of each roll.
