Made of natural materials like sisal and wool felt, the Cats in Style series of pet accessories from Dutch designer Marly Gommans marries simple, eco-conscious materials with beautiful shapes and forms. Our favorite is the scratching post, above. Click below the jump to view the rest of the collection, including a pillow/bed, covered litter box, and a concept for a cat door...

The scratching post is definatly a DIY. I like:)

I totally love the cat door. I wonder how that would really work.

I love the scratching post but I wonder how the sisal holds up without using glue. My cat stretches out the sisal on her regular shaped one and I could just see the loops of rope losing its nice shape.

It's so relaxing to look at a cat.

I typically don't care for animal furniture/accessories. I have a cat and she seems easily satisfied with any cardboard box and the plastic tab rings that come off jugs of milk. This is actually the first set of home items specifically for cats that I'm impressed with.

I though my tabby had the crown for Miss Plus Size. Looks like she has some competition.

Man, that's a big cat!
I like this Modern Cat blog.
Petco has come out with some very nice-looking cat trees (or else I just finally noticed them). They are made of "wood", but look a lot nicer than the carpet covered ones. They remind me of the Lotus cat furniture line. They don't seem to be overly expensive, either, less than $150.

Haha looking at that chubby cat made my morning. I like the felt pillow. It's something even I could see myself sitting in (if it came in human sizes)...
