I LOVE IT!!!! Please, oh please plaster these all over my neighborhood in the Bronx! And if there is a 'If you need to honk your horn for no reason or yell at your kids on the street in a quiet residential area, then you don't deserve a car or children' sign - please post that one, too.

A typographer's pet peeve, though... those aren't apostrophes, folks, those are "foot marks". ARGH.

I love New Yorker attitude with Dogs, very awesome.
Not enough dog owners clean up after their dogs in Jersey City. Yucky!

Here! Here! As a dog owner I totally agree. These should be posted all over the city. On a similar note, one of my best friends is a professional dog walker. And while I don't begrudge him his living, I'm appalled at the lack of time and care that so many people regularly provide their "best friend". Why have a pet in the first place?

Yee haw! I swear that is one of my pet peeves about NYC, is all the dog crap all over the sidewalks. Nowhere else in the world do I randomly step in dog crap in front of Bed, Bath and Beyond or something. It's everywhere!

Patrick

I love that you noticed the footmarks. Too funny!

I loathe people who do not clean up after their dogs-this includes people who leave smears all over the sidewalks. I agree that they do not deserve to have an animal here-it's an absolute sense of entitlement gone awry!

I love this sign! It's up there with the "Don't even THINK of parking here" sign.

I called 311 to get one of these signs for my street and the city is no longer posting them. I'm tempted to have a lookalike made...

jimk, I feel at least these people are giving their dogs the walks they need. And that their owners would pay for this service, is not so horrible.Especially when so many dogs need good homes, the more dogs in homes the better.

YES!!!! I am so sick of seeing people pretending not to see their dog crapping on the sidewalk. It's not only basic courtesy; It's littering. (Oh well - they probably don't wash their own hands after they take a dump...)

Um. What about those times when it's not of a, um, baggabl consistency?

I think I am going to post up signs like these around my neighborhood.
