ItchyKnee

3-7-itchy7.jpgWe just received a tip that ItchyKnee has THE BEST pet accessories, and since pets are small and cool, we thought we'd post it.

3-7-itchy2.jpgIndeed, ItchyKnee, started by Lance Foley, a sculptor/designer and Haruko Fukui, an architect, is one hip little website of pet fun. Right now they sell a small assortment of cat toys, including the camouflage Wall Barrel, organic matatabi Japanese cat nip and Plush Mice, which are the cutest little things you'll ever see your cat try to tear to pieces.

You can purchase online or at GreenerGrassDesign and Shady's Waggery. (Thanks, Moira!)

This is the Pet Crinkle Bag, which is part bed and part burrow.

This is a picture from their splashpage that we liked.

For an affordable alternative to the traditional cat tree, try the kitty cat loft at iroquoisinnovations.com. Its reasonably priced, has an incredibly small footprint, is easy to install and very sturdy. Very cat friendly too, because cats must jump off a traditional tree (they can't climb down). Kitty cat loft gives them a spiral staircase that they can walk up and down! The owner (Richard, I think?) is extremely nice, too.

I do dig those tubes, but the price...ouch.

Our cats have been having a rip roaring good time trying to catch the red dot of a laser pointer. We bought a cheap one in the Chinese Restaurant area a few years ago and its the best cat toy ever.
