Though it is not nearly as funny as the Murphy Bed for Pets, the Zen Hideaway from Hardwood Hideaway turns your pet's bed into functional furniture. The size of an end table or small chest, the Zen Hideaway could also be used to hide a litterbox. Made of fiberglass, the Zen Hideaway is lightweight, well-ventilated, waterproof and easy to clean...

How does this open? Do you need thumbs to get into it if it's closed? I wouldn't put a litter box in anything that could get bumped closed (unless you want to suffer the consequences).

It turns out my cat does not like having his litter box in a confined space, and the vet said this is fairly common -- in a nook is one thing, but if it feels like a trap your cat could start making messes elsewhere.

Sorry. Just couldn't resist.

These are really cute. However I dont think I would pay 500 bucks for it. I think you would really have to be in love with design or must really love your dog to shell out the cash for this.

I love the colors of the room. Pet thingy is cute, but not big enough.

Aside from the price, this TOTALLY makes up for the recent product debacles on the site (min bed) :)

Totally adorable -- unlike the price!!!

So, in that last photo it looks like the frenchie sleeps in the bathroom. Do other people's dogs do that? My dog only goes in the bathroom if carried in for a bath. Otherwise, he prefers his multiple beds, the couch, and my bed.
