Adjustable Hook by Klaus Goebbels and Isabel Hamm

08.16.goebbels.jpg

One hook does it all. This adjustable hook by Klaus Goebbels and Isabel Hamm can be adjusted without removing it from the wall.

Extend it out to support a row of garment hangers, turn it downward to hang a coat or robe. Available at the MoMA store for $40. We see this as a go-to hook at entryways that demand versatile function in a minimum of space.

Like this myself. Wish I had a use or place for it.

I could see using it in a bedroom, next to the closet. To hold hangers when you're putting clothes away, and then your robe at other times. Not for $40, though!

A good hook, good design. I will pay $40 in a heartbeat for it.

Given that a nickel-finish stick-on hook is almost $10 and an over-the-door stainless-steel-looking hook is $15 or so, if this absolutely, positively fit my needs, I'm not convinced that $40 is unreasonable. It's not a bargain, but it's not totally nuts.
