If you are looking for a big, floor length mirror at a good price, King David on 23rd street is the way to go. We passed them last weekend and snapped this pic, and Vanessa (in today's house tour) has two from this shop.
As they say: "We create custom mirrors from to our clients' design and size specifications. We are able to create mirrors in all shapes and sizes and to suit any purpose, be it residential or commercial, large or small."

is this a good price for a big mirror, or a good price for a custom made big mirror?
Vanessa here. Actually, I have 3 custom-made mirrors from King David. :)
They provide good prices for both custom made and pre-made large mirrors. The custom made mirrors are more expensive than the ready-made mirrors.
I brought them my measurements and they showed me many, many different frame options. They provide delivery.
I had King David cut and install a mirror backsplash for my tiny kitchen and they did a great job. I remember it wasn't especially cheap but it was four years ago so I can't remember what I paid.
A couple of years ago I was pricing a 27" x 67" mirror and I called every mirror listing in the Manhattan phone book. King David was not one of the less expensive places. If price is important, try calling mirror and glass stores in upper Manhattan.
