Fabriano Medioevalis Stationery

Our favorite for personal stationery is the Medioevalis line of cards and envelopes by Fabriano. Its natural fiber, basic cards with deckled edges, in a huge range of sizes, fulfill every correspondence need with simplicity...

The Medioevalis cards and envelopes come in so many sizes - we've found them suitable for letter and small thank you note cards. You know the box - you've probably seen the printed packaging in art supply stores before. It can be a bit pricey, but it sells for very reduced prices at Dick Blick, where we buy it.

This is truly great stuff. I got a huge supply at Flax in San Franciscso years ago and am still working through it. It's a goood heavy-weight stock that drinks up ink. It's also great for using inked stamps. I had a custom stamp made for some save-the-date cards and they turned out great.

Seeing that box gives me such a nostalgic, happy feeling; we used this beautiful, simple stationary for our wedding invitations almost 13 years ago!

I love this paper! For our small wedding, I was hoping to use it for the menu cards and place cards which I designed myself but it was too thick that even the industrial printer in the office and in Print Icon on West 18th Street couldn't handle it. Oh well...
