This booth was a little confusing to source, but we met Florence Edmond from Martinique and loved her pillows as well as this amazing bedroom by Aboubakar Fofana of Mali. Both are part of AfriqueAuthentique-AuthentiqueAfrica, a design collective.

I tired something like this over a bed for my daughter's room. The problem I ran into was getting enough airflow and AC inside the curtained area. Maybe this wouldn't be a big deal in colder climates....but it didn't work in FL.
