Kinda Creepy! We had to share this striking design available at Elsewares. Designer Harry Allen cast his own hand in polyester resin and the wall-mounted hand holds either a tube vase or a candlestick holder...

Ohhh, what was the name of that horror book I read where people were living in the walls - and pulled people in with them - one guy was pulled in by his hands and they "shut-off" the ability to move through the walls and he was left with two bloody stumps - a disturbing book and a disturbing look...
creepy!
Creepier with the candlestick.
It's lifted straight out of Cocteau's La Belle et la Bete

It reminds me of the hands, in Willy Wonka, that grabbed their hats and coats as they entered the factory...
Yes, totally creepy, LOL.
Moss has been selling Harry Allen hand hooks for years...not to mention the cast pig he made.
Roman Polanski's Repulsion with Catherine Deneuve.
I did something similar in my entry to create hooks though I used "baby limbs" as a model to creat my molds.

RKEM,
That's even creepier!
This is perfect for my new Zombie themed room.
i just threw up a little.
I think they're lovely!!!
this is so cool. Goes in my "wish I'd thought of it" category.
Alright guys, you are not going to believe this...
For the past year, I have had a vision in my head of combining an Ecosphere (http://www.eco-sphere.com/) with the "grab hand" by Harry Allen. Well in January I ordered the hand, but it was back-ordered and I didn't receive it until two weeks ago.
It looks even better than it did in my head!

i love the hands, honestly!
i'd totally mount them on my wall!
I am surprised Patrick (the other one) hasn't already commented on this, but the candle one strikes me as more masturbatory (is that a word?) than creepy.
Creep-O-Rama!
But as an aside, The Brits were doing body parts/ decorative accesories for the last 25 years.
I was never a big fan.
when I was a kid I had a recurring nightmare about hands sticking out of the walls in our apartment (back in Russia), in particular in the long hallway in it.
the baby limbs in particular are reminiscent of that dream.
