A new source. Strange that it would have taken this long to stumble upon Hive, as it is an really fine, small shop of mid-century and contemporary modern European and American design. They sell new and vintage pieces.

Hive doesn't waste their time with crap or stuff that everyone else has already covered. They cater to the upscale classic modern market with a carefully edited collection that includes Bauhaus design from Breuer and Gropius, Scandinavian classics from Wegner, as well as peak performances from Jean Prouve, Eames, Cherner, Nelson and recent creations from the Netherlands.

Prices are pretty much full retail and favorites include Wegner's CH24 Y Chair ($550), the Nelson's Bubble lamp ($240), Bellini's La Rotunda table and Alessi's Double Bowl ($150). MGR
