Get to class on time. We really should be saying that the IKEA 2005 Catalogue is available at stores right now AND that this is a great time to catch Ikea with the aisles not looking like crap (as they do late in the season), but we also wanted to plug the PUGG wall clock for college students. At $20 this is the nicest wall clock we know. MGR

I'd love to hear about some sources for real "industrial"-style clocks--salvaged from schools/municipal buildings, etc. You know: utterly plain yet somehow timelessly stylish metal frames, plain white faces, bold Swiss typefaces. Anyone have any leads? They seem like the type of thing that would tick on forever and ever, despite endless spitball spattering.
I found a clock like the one brian w describes above in an old trunk in my basement. I live in a townhouse in Brooklyn. This house used to be used by a company before the neighborhood became a fashionable place to live. In any case, this old GE clock is quite nice and I would be willing to sell it for about $50. It needs some cleaning up, but it is nice.
