Made as accessories for Gispen office systems, these Leaves magnets by Richard Hutten would also be really fun to use at home. The metal cases of Gispen office systems are a perfect canvas for arranging or randomly throwing Leaves, but so is your refrigerator...

Leaves have a really strong magnet in their base, which allows them to project outward like a dart. They're fresh and three-dimensional in a way that makes us like them, though we don't like refrigerator magnets. Where else could they be used:
“It is indeed a very simple solution – a piece of plastic with a strong lithium magnet. That is really all it is. And the good thing about it is that it is not only great for covering ugly ceilings. You can do so much more with it. The very minute we opened the box with the first hundreds of prototypes everyone here in the studio was playing with it. And gradually you see them appear on more and more objects and places, like they really grow. Even in my own home things are getting covered by them and if you think about it the possibilities are almost limitless. The good thing is also that people think they’re fun, they love to play with them”.

This is actually refreshing. It's not out to save the world or make it greener, or easier or even better... it's just fun.

Please tell us these are made from soy plastic...
...the last thing we need is more non-biodegradable petroleum-based plastic junk on our planet.
