Muji Alarm Clock

2005_18_muji-clock2.jpgThis is a hot, little clock and we are adding it to our Top 10 list of clocks. Found at the MoMA design store downtown, it is not listed on their website (because they never update it and are phhhhhart as a store).

The Muji Alarm Clock (@$35) is not a typically cheap Muji item for some reason, and only our die hard clock instincts could force open our wallet and get us to add it to our collection.

With ultra clean lines and a fine Japanese pedigree this reminds us of M & Co.'s simplest designs as well as the compactness of the Braun line.

The big bummer (and irony) of this clock is that this guy comes with an alarm but no snooze making it utterly impractical for our house. Pure eye candy. MGR

does anyone know of any other, equally cool-looking alarm clocks that do have a snooze? although i don't know if i'm ready to say goodbye to my sony dreammachine cube yet...

thanks for that tip. i've been looking for a simple alarm clock for awhile and one that is very quiet. do you know how loud this one's tick is? i'm kind of noise sensitive when it comes to ticking clocks. thanks.

Nice clock but I can't stand any ticking so alas, for me, it's the unattractice but oh-so-silent digital clock.
