Panier Perce by Industreal

05.09.cross.jpg

In Living Etc's current issue, we came across the Panier Perce bowl and had to post it. It instantly felt like childhood and the future rolled into one.

The bowl was first produced using 3D printing technology and embriodered with wool. Now, a glazed porcelain one complete with embrodery kit is made by Industreal. The holes covering the vessel are like a cross stitch pattern. They create a field on which your handiwork ultimately determines the appearance of the bowl.

Thanks, Sasha.

Wow. That's a lot of money for what it is.
