Are the plates ceramic or plastic (melamine?) Target often times has ADORABLE dishes, but only in that plastic material, which I've always had a distaste for.

The whole collection is adorable, and I'd love to see it all in person:) I love Target!

Well that's frustrating, I've just been to 2 different Super Targets here and they have nothing but the home storage stuff, absolutely none of the kitchen or dining items. Target's press release said today was the release date, but the people in the stores had heard nothing about anything else being in the line or coming in later. It's not even up on Target;s website from what I can see.

I too was very frustrated when I rushed to my Target this morning only to find one endcap display with a few items of storage stuff, which was almost completely gone. I got 2 cd bins, and some closet storage items: shoe bag & laundry bag. But did not see any kitchen stuff, trays, bowls or anything. Same experience with the employees who seemed to know nothing about Orla Kiely products or if/when they would get more in or be posted online. The other thing was the employee helping me said that display had been up for about 4-5 days. I guess I will have to stalk my local Target and hope more items are stocked this week!

Headed over yesterday (2/1) and it's the same story in Albany, CA. Regular Target (albeit 2-stories), single endcap display with storage items only. Managed two storage boxes, v. nice quality and no icky smells unlike some of their other stuff.

One thing to try is to get a floating team member to scan for you. Usually the designer stuff is in one area but from the single display out so far, it looks like they will be spread throughout the store. Use the search term "Orly" as her full name does not come up. It's the quickest way I've found to see if anything new has come in.

They also had the storage boxes, canvas organizers and the laundry bag (which I resisted!).

To get the organization stuff it was luck...we were walking past a display that the employee was unpacking. The kitchen stuff we found at another Target yesterday, but only some of it was out...just plates and canisters, no linens or anything like that. I still want the dish hooks, cushions, and coasters.

BTW Taz, the large serving bowls are not ceramic, they are a thick melamine.

FINALLY, sort of. i've been to 4 targets today and only 1 of them had anything new.

i found an endcap located directly across from the storage items that included: the coasters, the oven mitt, the dish towels, the cork placemats, some cloth placemats, the apron, the table cloths, a rug, and cloth napkins.

they also had 4 chair cushions, but i bought them all. maybe they have more in the back, but i didn't ask since i only needed 4. i didn't even plan on buying the chair cushions, but they were so adorable, very thick and well made. the lady checking out behind me was commenting on how cute they are.

i also got the cork placemat which is for my dogs dishes, the dinner napkins, dish towels and the oven mitt. everything i got is the pear/pear apple design. there is a very slight difference in the colors of green when comparing some of the items, but all in all i am very pleased.

still no canisters, which is what i want the most :(

if anyone is looking in the charlotte, nc area, i found these items at the rea rd location and i also check midtown, pineville and south blvd. i am off tomorrow and i will be checking some targets on the other side of town to see if the canisters are out.

good luck!

my target just had the linens and seat cushions, there was one end display and the people I asked said that was all the had so far. I picked up the pear table cloth.

I thought the prices were pretty good--comparable to the other target home lines.

I'm also stressed out. I went to the Brooklyn Target this morning, once I read that some pieces have been spotted in stores. Like many others, I am mostly interested in the canisters. The Target employees I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about, but I searched high and low and there was NOTHING to be found. I'm pretty sure that the Bklyn Target (Atlantic Terminal) hasn't had anything yet, but I'm hoping they follow the "official" launch of 2/15. Why is Target so awful about these launch dates? Please correct me if I'm wrong and the Brooklyn store already had the collection and is sold out, it might save me a few trips there this week! I now have my mother checking Targets in PA hoping to get my hands on the canisters. I kind of wish I never knew about this bc I'm now officially obsessed!

okay, today i went back to the target where i found the linens yesterday and they now have out the rest (this is the target on rae rd in charlotte, nc). there are now three different endcaps. the storage stuff, the linens which where right across from the storage, and the dishes/canisters are located at an endcap in the dishes section. seems like they would just put all of the orla stuff together, but i guess not. anyway, since it's an endcap you can imagine that there are very limited quantities.

btw, this was the 4th target i went to today and no one else had it...

when i got there around 11 am (and this was not out yesterday) there was one canister set and two additional canisters, 2 of the 2 tiered platters, 2 of the pitchers (1 green, 1 brown), 2 trays and then there were a good amount of dishes, tumblers and coffee mugs. luckily i snatched up what i wanted because when i circled around again there was a lady standing there asking a sales guy about canisters and he said that was it. i watched my back as i loaded my car ;)

let me just say that everything looks really nice. i just really wish the dishes were stoneware (especially since she made cloth napkins to match) because they are so cute.

what a relief for me because i was so obsessed with this stuff and now i can relax. good luck to everyone else.

I have managed to acquire everything I have been looking for. It has taken me many, many trips to the six (!) different Targets here in Tucson, along with some trips to the customer service desk to get stuff pulled from the back that was sitting waiting to be put out on the floor. The roll out has sure been inconsistent...some Targets had everything, some had nothing, some had stuff hiding in the back room, etc. etc.

The only item I have not been able to find is the reusable shopping bag. Anyone else have any luck with this? I would love it if we could work out an arrangement to get one for me.

I found everything I wanted at a Target here in Portland, OR this morning, and had already ordered the rest (mugs) online. I am a huge Orla fan, but I have to say I was a little disappointed by the quality of some of the items. The color was already chipping off the plastic tumblers on the shelves. And the color matching seems to not be very good between the pieces. If you wanted your mugs to match your placemats to match your chair cushions, you might be disappointed. They were very inexpensive though, so I guess you get what you pay for. The quality of the mugs was GREAT though - very heavy stoneware, and a great size.

I went on Saturday morning in Dallas Texas (total of 4 Targets by the end of the hunt) and they were taking the items out of the box. I bought - orange pear tumblers (my favorite), flower tumblers, 2 tier tray (super cute), bowls, flower tray. I saw the canisters but the brown one was already chipped and one of the wooden lids was split - disappointed.

I bought for my friend as well. If you find the item on Target.com then you can do a search per store for the availability - this was very successful for us since he really wanted the 2 tier tray.

I finally located them in a store on the complete opposite side of the universe (well really, from where I live). My husband had the day off so he went and picked some up for me. Interestingly this store is the only one in Tucson that got them, kind of like WantHaveNeed's experience.

if anyone is interested, you can buy the media storage and organizational bins online. they are in the wrong category! just search for "abacus" and you should find them. my husband and i went to total of 7 targets to find everything! everyone in san fran must be orla freaks! i am really loving how happy my house looks with all of her bright prints everywhere.

I cannot find the pear floor mat anywhere. Does anyone have an item number for that?

The item number 212-32--0027 for the reusable bag is correct. If the store doesn't carry them, their computer will say that they've been discontinued. Just ask them which other stores in the area have them in stock, that's how I found mine. There was only one Target that carried them, and the girl had to get them from the stock room. I would never have found them without the item number, thanks johstal! Now does anyone have the item number for the floor mat??

So frustrating - i called about the reusable shopping bags and apparently no targets in the portland or salem oregon areas have them! I wonder if they'll be coming next week - I hope so!

However I dd find the canisters last night and picked up the orange one - so cute for dog treats!

If anyone needs a reusable shopping bag, I can get one for you! My Target had 48 in stock, so I'm sure they'll still have some. It'll be $8 shipped if you want one (extra for gas, shipping materials). Just let me know!

I'm loving the storage jars even though the lids are not always a great fit. Love the laundry bag and am enjoying using this to go to the dry cleaners.

Love the magazine holders and also the flower print tablecloth. Would have loved the pear print to be in brown the green is not my cup of tea.
Just such a shame that Target has made a complete mess of merchandising this range. I have had to get them to drag it from the back. This range should have been merchandised together like the crappy merchandise they have had in home lately. Such a shame this has been allowed to trickle out without any impact. If I was Orla I'd be pissed in the extreme.

I LOVE the plates but my Target sold out before I had a chance to buy any. Then they offered them on the Target website but they sold out before I made my purchase. I just wanted to let y'all know that a lot of these items are being sold new on ebay.
