Chi Town. When we visited friends in Chicago this winter they took us to Stitch to show us where they bought the furniture in their house. Very nice. With a selective eye, Stitch has taken the best of the East and the West Coasts and combined it in a collection that we want to call "soft urban." Does that work for you?
They are a store mainly, with a stylish little website that shows much of what they stock. Many of the items look familiar but are slightly different than your standard NYC fare.
We like VICTORIA TSARUKYAN's studded pillows ($190), the Klien Reid pillows ($118), the Templeton chair for $1860, and the Reed Mercury Glass lamps ($210).
CitySearch recommends it and says it is "sleek," "minimalist" and consumed with "the smell of fine leather."

What's the AT point of view on these "midsummer lights" that are plastic vines and flowers you attach to a lightbulb? I really like them . . . my bf does not.

My PUSH travel clock just arrived from Stitch and I love it.
I'm moving to Chicago soon and enjoyed this sneak peak. With a family of four, my home needs a lot of therapy, so keep up the good work.
