On a very warm day this week,
I was strolling along a particularly stinky East Village block, when I came upon this oasis of plant life and color: the Big Cat Gallery. Right away, I knew I had found this week's winner. The gallery, which won the coveted "best music-conscious art gallery to freak out claustrophobics" award from The Village Voice, has proved, along with its neighbors, that you can even transform a grafitti-stained concrete lump into something special. Not only does it look beautiful - it smells better than any other part of the block. Bravo, Big Cat! SKGR

Did you just look as as far as The Big Cat Gallery? That block has one of the most beautiful, most lush pocket gardens in the city___ and the most gorgeous housewares' shops, John Derian & Co., as well
No, I don't live on that block, I enjoy walking on it though. Try walking the whole stretch the next time you're in the neighborhood.
Absolutely! Although I'm a bit biased (currently showing there), they do have a uniquely clean, fresh and beautiful space just steps away from the concrete jungle.
Unfortunately, I've never been in Big Cat, but I will visit it in a short time I swear! :)
Thanks for information.
