Science & Sons' Park Planters

Small Scale. As a former architecture student, it's always fascinating when designers successfully play with scale. These Park Planters from Toronto-based design collective Science & Sons create miniature urban parks out of house plants — including inhabitants like dog walkers, flashers and muggers. (Be warned, some involved in adult situations)...

We're fond of the crisp whiteness of the vessels and how they manufacture a mini-environment where the plant/tree takes center stage. We'd like to see these planted with a variety of house plants — a jade plant would be especially interesting. Via NotCot.org.

Ooh, love at first sight. I'm picturing the 'sneak up in the park' one on my desk.

How to purchase?

Wow. I love these, but quite the price tag. Time for me to go back to the ceramics studio and make my own.

I love those! And honestly I was expecting them to be even more than they are. Hmmm....
