Any rectangular planters? CB2 has affordable ones but the color isn't what I'm looking for.
DWR has nice planters but they're entirely unaffordable (for me).

I agree, these can get expensive. Conran has rectangular polyresin planters. But again, expensive. And they don't seem to have sizes on their website! And not sure of the quality. The Madison ones were very nice, and after seeing them in person I know I would be happy using them.

Jamali is another place to look. They have polyresin rectangular planters, and the prices are not too bad. I like visiting and seeing what they have at the actual store.

Ive been searching for large lightweight planters...what I really want is the Gratia Orb Planter, but $750 is a little ridiculous. Simply planters is great, and for large planters, I found some great resources by googling "commercial planters." THe maanufacturer of some nice, modern, resin planters, widely sold, is Crescent. (Their "Orinoco Bowl" is awesome).

I have some planters similar to the first ones posted (I think they are the same company, but they just come in different colors--black, copper, and gray). I got them at Sprout Home in Brooklyn and I really like them! They are lightweight so they are easy to bring up to my roof garden but they are also very attractive.

I highly recommend them!

Go check out Lowes and Home Depot, too, if "big box" stores don't offend you.

They have a gazillion large lightweight planters in a lot of styles.

One of my favorites at Lowes are fiberglass ones that look just like weathered wood. They have large ones for $20 and gigantic ones for $40. I bought a large 20" planter for my rhododendron at Lowes for $20. It's not as Plain-Jane (I mean cleaned lined - no offense, Matt ;->) as the ones above...

For off the wall stuff, try E-Bay too.

I got a small "wishing well" planter (3' tall by 19" diameter) there for a song.

Granted that's not everyone's cup of tea...so I'm eclectic. LOL

I am using one of these large Ikea plant containers as a garbage recepticle in my guest bathroom. It looks great!
