Planttherapy: Nice Bunch

I took this photo recently when passing by Prudence Designs on West 18th street. They have two stores across the street from one another. This is the store on the north side of the street on the garden level. The color catches your eye by surprise, bringing your eye down into the shop which is filled with flowers paired with home furnishings.

The vibrant yellows caused me to look twice, and I wondered if they could be real. The answer is yes. All of the flowers in Prudence are real and incredibly fresh, including the ranunculus, callas, and forsythia that were in the front window that day. Curating a home furnishing shop is hard work, and it must be twice as hard putting flowers into the mix. Theirs mingle well to the point of looking effortless.

For those who want a treat, look at the 'Press' photos on their website.
