A group of 8 articles in the current issue of New York Magazine. Not definitive, but a fun, fluffy spread of flower advice and resources across our city. The video above is from their $50 Deli Flower Challenge (which I think Root Stock & Quade participated in a few years back - with a $20 budget??). Seems like $50 doesn't go that far at the deli nowadays.

All the article links after the jump. Recognize any of the resources? Patronize any of the shops they list? Let us know!

What $100 Gets
- "We ordered five bouquets (anonymously) from a range of florists, giving
only two directives: Use what's freshest, and keep it
to one Benjamin." It wasn't clear if the differences in delivery fees were only because of distance to the delivery point or not. Fun to see everyone's take on seasonal, and how each shop's selections and styles differ.

That book title reminds of a certain pinata that cropped up on AT recently!

$50 deli challenge, huh? Can't you get a professional arrangement from a florist for $50? Is making something nice out of $50 worth of "ingredients" such a challenge, especially for a professional?
