canal_rubber.gif Rubber is not the only thing you will find in this old-fashioned but amazing resource. If you need foam for cushions, a mat for yoga, heavy duty floor matting used in doorways or kitchens, rubber hose or anti-vibration pads for underneath your stereo, this is the place...

We use Canal Rubber every time we make a headboard, and always find new uses for the many materials they supply. Don't be put off by the grumpy proprietors. They always seem to smile in the end.

A yoga mat room could be fun. My boyfriend insists that the next place we live in has a second bedroom solely for yoga and meditation, which I more than agree with! I'll keep this in mind. Do they have eco-friendly and biodegradable options? Thanks!

Ahhh... memories. Canal Rubber is an indispensable resource for Industrial Design students' projects. They do have a lot of great stuff for any number of DIY projects.

We used to go there all the time when I was working in window display. We would spend hours trying to figure out what we could do with all the crazy stuff we would haul back to the showroom!

use sheets of rubber to cover yucky linoleum or tile floors in rental bathrooms or kitchens like I did! it's cheap, easy, and uses a recycled material..
