Thomas Kral is the first Slovak designer on Apartment Therapy (We just did a search to make sure). He now lives in Switzerland, and Plug! is a prototype made last year for his master's degree in industrial design. The concept was to create a range of products that transform a cork, and make a connection between the hard glass and the porous cork. We had to admit that we're kinda of sucker for a filament bulb (although not very green, it sure is pretty).

Interesting concept - I love the pendant light. I suppose a low-watt lights could be substituted to get the same double helix shape yet be more enviro-friendly, but those filament bulbs are fantastic.
