Meditation: On Nephelococcygia

2005_8_27sgh.jpg

"I didn't know I loved clouds
whether I'm under or up above them
whether they look like giants or shaggy white beasts..."

--Nazim Hizmet, from "Things I Didn't Know I Loved"

Nephelococcygia, a term coined by Aristophanes, is the art of finding shapes in clouds. When was the last time you lay on your back in the grass watching fantastic creatures pass overhead? Great day for it....

I have the colorcalm skies DVD and throw it up on the plasma screen to add ambience when I'm hosting a cocktail party.
