Completely gorgeous. When I move, can you design my place? I'm bookmarking this...

LOVE your bedding!

And where's the bedspread from? Heck, and the sheets. I saw that color in a West Elm catalog a few years back, and haven't been able to find it anywhere since.

Olivia, the fabric above the bed is def. Marimekko - the one above the couch may be also.

Olivia: The piece over the bed can be found here:

The art above the bed and couch are Marimekko wall hanging kits from txtlart.com.

Clearly we have similar taste. I have the same bedspread (Target a year or so ago) and the same Marimekko tree art, though I have it in the living room instead of over the bed.

WOW! Guys, thanks for all the compliments! I love the whole decorating idea and have always had just a small apartment to play with. And life without lots of color just seems too boring for me. My husband is going to be in trouble when we finally buy a house!

And thanks everyone for that textiles website. Completely amazing.

The top bedspread is from Urban Outfitters circa 2003 and the one underneath it was purchased at IKEA in the sale bin a few months ago.

I have that same IKEA duvet cover/shams. Just got it for $19.99. It is so pretty!

I'm really impressed by how different eras and styles have been mixed to form a coherent whole -- eg the textile print next to the 19th c country painting.

I want to know more about that lamp!

CB2 offers the same Marimekko print above the bed for a tad cheaper (and in brown):

I really love the balance of color and your boldness in using them all. It turned out to be a nice contrast using the slightly unnatural green wall with nature-ish prints. My only comment is the coffee table ( I used to have the same one from Target) could be updated; maybe something lower & sleeker!

Re the CB2 wall hanging. It's not same as Textile Arts. The fabric is the same but the hanging system is way different. The one from Textile Arts is a solid frame on 4 sides the CB2 is just a rail at the top and bottom.

I'm glad to see the red furniture made it in the move from N.O. Always a good place for a nap!

Wow those look amazing! You all have some real talent. you should check out Imagekind.com where you can buy and sell you own artwork for free as well as check out tons of local and emerging artists. i spend way too much time there imagining how i can redecorate my place.
