I think the best kind of art is from artist friends.
One of my friends creates kachina dolls, and I finally figured out how to display it--in some birch branches in my living room. I've attached a room view and close-up shot, but I've also put it on my personal blog with more photos and an explanation of why I didn't encase the art into a frame or shadow box...
this is so cool! the dolls are beautiful and displaying them like this makes them seem alive.
Intrigued by the Kachina doll photo, I just spent 45 minutes or more reading Jaya's entire personal blog and part of her business blog. Interesting, to say the least, and inspiring. Thanks.
