Welcome to K/B!
We just switched up our old picture collection above our sofa and table in the livingroom. Pretty low budget, but a nice shot of color offset by oversized white-on-white gallery style framing (personal fotos, and self- framing/mating saved cash)...

my favorite so far!
is that the new sofa from room & board? love it!
love these photos, and your place! - i actually bookmarked your slideshow a while back for inspiration:)you have a great eye for color and design-great job!
Wow. I am currently doing the same sort of thing. I took a bunch of pictures of doorways/alleyways while I was in China and I want to frame them or put them in a coffee table book. Bookmarking this also.
Could you tell us your source for the frames? I am looking for some good quality pre-fab frames for posters and photos.
Awesome artwork and cool frames. I want to know about the source of the frames too.
I would have liked the look of your place even more if that white throw on the sofa had a different color. There is a little too much white for me. Just my thoughts. :)
Very nice! Very clean and crisp looking.
Thanks for the comments all! The sofa is actually the "Ona" from Room and Board- which, for some reason, was discontinued for 2007(?) -we'd been eyeing it for quite some time, and it was a good thing we got it when we did (Nov) b/c it turned out to almost be too late!
About the frames... standard IKEA = 28" x 20" "Ribba" Frame (white) -can't really go wrong w/ them for the price and how big they are.
Mimi- we are currently divided on the throw and the use of white there. However, because we don't have a single white wall in our entire apt (and the bedroom is a really rich bold rust... see "K/B Silhouettes" in Flickr Finds section) we wanted to introduce white as much as possible... but believe me, "1/2 of us" hears you!! Thanks for the feedback.

What a cool photo project! I like the accent materials like the blanket and the pillows. Everything is tied in together wonderfully.
